Afraz Zafar is CFA charter holder from CFA Institute USA. He received his charter in 2011. He has got five years of experience in the Capital Markets of Pakistan. Mr. Afraz has got excellent financial acumen and has his own way of looking at the capital markets of Pakistan. He is an avid reader of finance and investment research published worldwide. His research reports and market analysis is widely appreciated. Mr. Afraz has also participated in many international investment conferences and represented Pakistan. Before joining Horizon Securities Limited, Mr. Afraz graduated in Economics and Mathematics from Cornell University USA, one of the top universities of United States of America.
Abida Zafar
Mrs. Abida Zafar has been serving as a Non-Executive Director of Horizon Securities Limited since 2011. She brings to the Board a valuable combination of professional experience, sound judgment, and a strong understanding of Pakistan’s capital markets.
Over the years, Mrs. Zafar has developed in-depth knowledge of equity trading, stock market operations, and the functioning of the stock exchange.
Her understanding of the dynamics of share trading and capital-market activities enables her to contribute effectively to the strategic oversight and governance of the Company. Her experience provides an important perspective on investment-related matters, market trends, and the broader operating environment of the brokerage industry.
In addition to her involvement in the capital markets, Mrs. Zafar is a medical professional and gynecologist.
